Wow, I am finally getting around to writing this post, and let me just say I am getting excited just thinking about it! First, let me just say a huge CONGRATS, you're graduating! Please high-five yourself for achieving such a huge milestone in life.

If you know me personally, you know that I will be graduating from the University of Alabama in May (Roll Tide!) and while I am so excited to be moving onto the next chapter of life, the ending is bittersweet. The thought of graduating has been nothing short of stressful. From Coronavirus restrictions to grad photos to landing my dream job; there has been a lot to coordinate recently, and I know I’m not the only one feeling the pressure. But y’all, this is an exciting time of life and I am here to help as much as I can, starting with finding you the perfect dress for your spring graduation! Like I always say, retail is the best form of therapy, so put your worries aside for the next five minutes and let’s find you the cutest look for your graduation!

If you want to be trendy, stylish and comfortable for your graduation I highly recommend one of these options. Each has a fun detail that will make you stand out whilst giving you the perfect touch of elegance for your special day! Since graduation is a time when you will be surrounded by friends and family, I think it’s important to keep things classy but that doesn't mean you have to compromise on style. So go for the puff sleeve statement or add a fun ruffle to create a perfectly trendy and classic look!

What I’m Wearing

For my graduation, I have decided to go with two different dresses, one for my graduation photos and the ceremony and then another option for my graduation party. The main reason I decided to wear two different dresses was due to the formality of each event. Obviously, the ceremony is pretty formal so I opted for a classic dress with a fun ruffled sleeve to add some personality! I decided to pair this look with a set of drop pearl earrings, a simple bangle and nude pumps to keep it sophisticated. *Click the Images Below to Shop*

For my graduation party, I opted for a more casual look because the party is going to be outdoors in the heat of the summer. I chose a Lily Pulitzer shift dress with eyelet detail because it was formal enough but still comfortable. Choosing a fun pair of earrings in your school colors will make such a cute statement to a simple outfit! And finally, I will either wear my favorite pair of nude wedges (pictured) or simple Jack Rodgers sandals in the natural cork colorway.

Even though I chose to go with two separate looks for the ceremony and my graduation party, I think that both of these dresses are great options for your graduation festivities! No matter what you choose to wear for your graduation make sure to pick something that makes you feel confident and beautiful! Wishing you a happy and stress-free graduation day, and congratulations again!

Your Daily Dose of Sunshine,

Kathryn
